【Hunting Game】
To hunt for treasures beneath the ground with special tools that were provided to us. So what were these treasures? In keeping with the theme of our trip, the special treasures to be discovered were, unsurprisingly, bamboo shoots once again! A party of forty guests searched high and low for these elusive treasures. It was all good fun out in the forests of Taiwan.
【Tea Ceremony】
The final part of the trip involved a formal Taiwanese style tea ceremony. Allowing us to take a deep breath from our busy activities we allowed our minds to reflect on the last two days. As I felt the warmness of the tea between my lips, out under an open sky, on a beautiful hilltop with good company around me I felt a sense of calmness and a deep sense of appreciation.

The ride back home allowed for further reflection. I was thankful for having been allowed a peek into true Taiwanese culture in a setting not many foreigners would have experienced.
Many of the activities were geared towards a traveler who enjoyed the fine details of life. Young or old this is a trip for anyone with an open inquisitive mind and is definitely a trip I will recall with fond memories for years to come.
